Procedure:
- Please insert the appropriate blade length in the basket
- Make a note with Edding which kind of steel the blade is made of
- Afterwards send the blade and a printout of the order confirmation by DHL to us (adresse)
- I'll send the hardened and tempered blades back after receiving the money
- Alternatively, its possible to come by and pick up your blade. Just call us first to make an appointment ( phone +49 1578-4967766 )

IMPORTANT!
Please note that the blades undergo an extreme change in structure during curing and this discharge all tensions and irregularities in the steel structure. In plain language, this can mean a curved blade in frequent cases, or in rare cases a broken blade. This only affects forged Blades normally.

I STRONGLY recommend getting in forged blades heat treatment (normalizing, normalizing sharp, stress relief) before hardening the blade. I am happy to take this important work for you.

Unforged blades of sheet material should not be turned blue during grinding. Otherwise, I suggest you before hardening the blades a stress relief annealing to avoid a hardening distortion.

We harden each blade individually. Despite the best Care we take, we can not completely compensate for the heat treatment blunders during forging (too much heat in too little deformation). In rare cases, it may therefore come despite optimal heat treatment for crooked blades.

All blades should not be sharp before hardening. Leave at the cutting edge a material thickness of at least 0.5 mm! Otherwise it can cause waves in the blades.

Habe die Klingen wieder in bewährter Qualität und kurzer Zeit zurückbekommen. Gute Arbeit, kein Verzug.

Vorschlag: wie wäre es mit einer Gallerie für Kundenarbeiten? Man könnte sich Ideen für weitere Arbeiten holen.

Ich habe nun schon mehrere Klingen bei Schmiedeglut härten lassen und kann nur sagen dass die handwerkliche Qualität wirklich klasse ist. Durch einen Schmiedekurs bei Schmiedeglut bin ich auf den Geschmack gekommen und baue seit dem Messer.
Weiter so, die nächsten Klingen sind schon in Arbeit!

Das erste Mal den Härteservice in Anspruch genommen und ich bin restlos zufrieden. Die Klingen waren ohne Verzug und nach einer guten Woche hatte ich meine Teile zurück.
Fazit: das war nicht das letzte Mal...

Das erste Mal Messerrohlinge zum Härten eingeschickt. Zweimal D2 und einmal Carbonstahl. Ich war sehr skeptisch in Bezug auf einen Verzug und auch auf die Abwicklung. Ja was soll ich sagen? Die Rohlinge kamen in kürzester zeit perfekt gehärtet wieder bei mir an. Kein Verzug, völlig unkompliziert, sehr schnell.
Besser geht es nicht. Ich muß eine absolute Empfehlung aussprechen!
