Two stage sharpening with compact convenience. One of DMTs signature products now outfitted with the proprietary Hardcoat surface for extra durability when used to sharpen ceramic blades. While all DMT diamond sharpeners can sharpen hard steels and ceramics, the HC surface provides for extra long life when used for ceramic blade sharpening. Two different grits combined to create a lightweight sharpener that is great for home, camper, tool box, gardening shed and more. Includes a continuous surface that can be used for small or pointed edges. HC Extra-Fine diamond (9 micron / 1200 mesh) to polish and refine a razor edge after sharpening with a coarser diamond. HC Fine diamond (25 micron / 600 mesh) for a razor sharp edge. Convenient size: 9 1/2" open. 5" closed. Folding plastic handles protect sharpener when not in use. Sharpens in a fraction of the time required by conventional stones. No messy oils neededsharpen dry or with water. DMT DiaFold Hardcoat Fein/X-fein weiß Diamantschärfer

Tolles Gerät zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis! Habe auf Anhieb gute Erfolge beim Schärfen meiner Messer erzielt. Spitzenmäßig auch das Video zum Thema (daurch wurd ich erst auf Euch aufmerksam)-Danke weiter so!!

absolute Kaufempfehlung

Der Diamantschleifer war für mich am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürfig da ich bis dato Wetzstähle und Schleifsteine gewöhnt war. Aber jetzt möchte ich das Teil nicht mehr missen.
Habe aufgrund der positiven Erfahrung gleich noch einen DiaFold in Rot/Blau bestellt. Absolut top in der Anwendung und das Ergebniss ist mehr als überzeugend.
Hervorheben möchte ich noch die sehr schnelle Lieferung.
Gerne wieder.
