Care instructions:
- Wash the knife under running water with a drop of dish soap.
- We then recommend applying a few drops of blade oil to the blade to protect the knife from developing a patina.
- Not suitable for the dishwasher.
- To resharpen the knife, we recommend one of our diamond leathers.

Beautiful Knife
Having watched “Fire Kitchen” a number of times, I was very interested in the FK Knife. I purchased the FK2 which most suited my needs for food preparation and general use in the kitchen. The knife arrived well packaged and on opening, it was oiled and a blade guard was attached. The craftsmanship is excellent and the knife is extremely sharp. Importantly for me is the weight, at 500 grams, the knife does all the work with ease. I have used it everyday and the blade is still as sharp as the first day. Everything about the knife is good and I am very pleased and impressed with it...

Was ein geiles Messer!
Alleine wenn man das Messer in die Hand nimmt, spürt man sofort das sich dem Messer nichts widersetzen kann. Die Optik und der Stahl sind einfach nur geil.
Man(n) möchte am liebsten den ganzen Tag damit nur schneiden!

Kommt sehr scharf an, ist halt Schmideglut. Wer stumpfe Messer kaufen möchte ist hier falsch.

Gegen das Messer gibt es nichts einzuwenden. Meiner Meinung nach perfekt. Sauscharf. Nur schade, dass es die passende Lederscheide gerade nicht gab.

Ja, ich hab das Messer heute bekommen, es ist mein zweites von Schmiedeglut. Was soll ich sagen, es ist ein Hingucker und sehr scharf geschliffen, ich habe es heute an Melonen und Huhn getestet, funktionierte natürlich alles top. Aber alter Schwede muss man es beim ersten mal putzen, da geht vom Zunder bzw vom Schmiededreck noch einiges ab ^^. Mein persönlichen Dank an Schmiedeglut für ein preiswertes tolles Allzweckmesser.

Schönes Messer, super scharf etwas kopflastig aber trotzdem gut zu händeln. Sehr schneller Versand war nicht das letzte mal.

Sehr scharf, liegt gut in der Hand, also für mich ein tolles Messer. Genau für die Zubereitung für Fleisch zum Dutch Oven aber auch für den Grill.

Sauscharf
Ich habe mein FK 2 vor einigen Tagen erhalten und bin begeistert. Es sieht gut aus und ist sauscharf, kenne ich von meine anderen Messern nicht. Der Umgang mit diesem Messer ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, da die Klinge schwerer ist als bei anderen Küchenmessern, also üben.
Hoffentlich hält diese Schärfe lange vor. Danach wird das Schärfen geübt.
