Questions about the ordering process


How does ordering in our shop work?

Once you have found an item, add it to your shopping cart. When this has been done successfully, you can view your cart. If you would like to order more items, simply add them to the cart. To complete your order, click the green button “Proceed to checkout” or directly “Checkout”. If you have a customer account, please log in now. If you do not have an account and do not wish to create one, select “Order without registration”. Then follow the instructions and fill in your address, shipping method and payment method. Please note that fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory and must be completed. At the end of the ordering process, you will be shown a summary of your order and your personal details. Please check these for accuracy. If you would like to add a comment to your order, use the “Comment” field. To complete the order, click the green button “Place order with obligation to pay”.

How can I pay?

We offer you the most well-known and secure payment methods. The payment methods we provide include:

  • PayPal: an online payment system that allows you to pay quickly and securely using your verified email address.
  • Bank transfer: conveniently pay the outstanding amount via transfer through your bank.
  • Sofortüberweisung: with the TÜV-certified SOFORT transfer service, you pay conveniently and securely using your online banking details.

Please note that we only accept advance payment. We do not ship goods on account, as this used to cause considerable administrative effort, which would then affect prices.

Has my order/payment been received?

As soon as we have received your order or registered your payment, we will notify you via email. Please also check your spam folder. If you have not received an email, please contact us promptly. Your order will then be processed and shipped. Please also keep in mind the delivery times. You can find more information under “Questions about delivery”.

How can I redeem my voucher?

Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing recurring issues with our voucher plugin. We are working hard on a solution. If you are unable to redeem your voucher, please contact us by phone or email.

How can I cancel an order?

If you notice an error in your order afterwards or wish to cancel it, please contact us immediately.

Questions about delivery


What does shipping cost?

Shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the parcel and the specified delivery address. To calculate these in advance, please use the following link: Payment and shipping cost information

What should I do if I have not received my delivery?

As soon as your parcel has been handed over to DHL, you will receive an email with the corresponding tracking number. On the DHL website, you can track your parcel and also find information in case delivery problems occur. If this happens, please use the DHL hotline to resolve the issue. In the event of an error due to an incorrect address, the parcel will be returned to us and we will contact you immediately. In rare cases, a parcel may get lost. If this happens, please contact us so that we can initiate a search request.

My parcel is damaged

If your parcel is delivered damaged, please have the DHL employee confirm this in writing immediately. Before opening it, please take photos of the damaged parcel. All our parcels are insured, so if the contents are damaged, please inform us. We will take care of it and arrange a replacement.

This is not what I ordered!

Unfortunately, we are not infallible, and in very rare cases incorrect products may be sent or items may be missing. If you notice this, please contact us. We will send the missing goods immediately at no extra cost or work with you to find a suitable solution.

Technical problems in the shop

If any kind of error occurs in our online shop or if you discover an error with one of our products, please let us know and send us an email. To help us clearly identify the issue, please also attach meaningful screenshots. We will take care of the problem as quickly as possible!

Questions about the forging course


Will my forging course take place?

If you have booked a course, received an order confirmation, and paid for it, you are firmly booked for the date you selected.

I booked the course but have not received any mail.

Please note that for course bookings, all notifications and information are sent exclusively by email. Nothing is sent by post. If you have received an order confirmation and fully paid the course fee, your place is automatically reserved. You do not need to present a ticket or order confirmation at the start of the course.

When and where?

All forging courses and workshops start at 9:00 a.m. and end between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (depending on the group’s progress). The forging courses take place at our forge: Grebenhainer Str. 3, 36355 Grebenhain (Vogelsberg).

What do I need to bring to the forging course?

  • Cotton clothing
    old jeans and a jumper
  • Leather work shoes
  • Hearing protection
  • FFP3 dust mask, safety goggles, and gloves
    (can be purchased on site)
  • Cash is recommended
    (participants often buy accessories after the course)
  • Drinks
  • Camera

Is the forging course transferable?

Yes. You can book courses for third parties and transfer them (e.g. as a gift). If you already know who the course is intended for, please provide their name in the order confirmation.

I want to give a course as a gift

You can purchase a voucher, it is valid for 3 years, and the recipient can redeem it at any time for course of their choice.

I cannot attend my course date

If you cannot attend your course date, please first ask your family and friends whether someone can take your place. If that is not possible, please contact us immediately. After consulting with you, we will list the course again in our online shop, promote it on our social media channels, and call a waiting list of potential participants. If we find a replacement, you will only be charged a processing fee (depending on the amount of work involved). If we do not find a replacement and the course place remains unfilled, your course fee will be forfeited.

Questions about our products/services


Do you also offer other products, steels, or dimensions?

We have a wide selection of products available through our online shop. This is maintained, updated, and expanded on a daily basis. We cannot offer products that differ from our standard range. For steels, the following applies: From a quantity of 100 kg, other types and dimensions are possible.

Can I also buy goods from you on site?

We do not have a physical store and primarily process orders through our online shop. Additionally, we are extremely busy due to forging courses and our own projects. If you would still like to visit us to view our knives or other products and purchase them on site, please contact us by phone to arrange an appointment. Card payments are possible.
