- Coarse (45 microns, 325 mesh, blue): Quickly restores a neglected cutting edge, suitable for initial sharpening in preparation for fine sharpening.
- Fine (25 microns, 600 mesh, red): Sharpen slightly dull knives and tools, often used as a universal sharpener.
