Properties and applications
- Used industrially to cut concrete.
- Relatively easy to work and forgiving during hardening.

Hardening
Hardening: 840° / tempering at 180°C for 1 hour = approx. 59-60 HRC.
Notes
The steel is soft-annealed and supplied to us in large plates (approx. 2 x 1 m). The plates are cut into strips 40 to 60 mm wide.
The cut strips may be slightly bent. They can be straightened over the knee, in a vise or with hammer and anvil. No increased hardening distortion is noticeable as a result.
